Cork Interview Coaching Background

My name is Meg Healy. I have over 25 years experience as an Interview Coach. I owned and managed private Family Business Colleges in Cork (Lee College) and Tralee (Lee Business Institute).

I lectured in Business subjects but my passion was in the area of Career Planning, Interview Preparation and Job Placement. I have prepared hundreds of students over the years for jobs in State and Semi-State bodies such as ESB, County Councils, HSE, Banking, Aer Lingus and many private companies in Ireland and abroad. Being a Director of a Recruitment Agency, (Kerry Recruitment) for a four-year period gave me a good insight into what employers want and how to match a candidate to a job.

I delivered courses in Career Planning and Job Seeking Skills to participants attending SOLAS courses all over Munster for six years and have been on numerous Interview Boards over the years which gave me experience of both sides of the Interview Process. I have designed and delivered Courses and Workshops in Career Planning and Job Seeking Skills, Customer Care and Ethics and Receptionist Telephonist Training to Schools and Companies. I am a Past President of The Rotary Club of Tralee.

For the last eight years I have been involved in Youth Leadership which entails interviewing and coaching students for a Youth Leadership Competition. I also organise Simulation Interviews in some of our local secondary schools.

I launched Cork Interview Coaching to give you the ‘Experience’ of ‘My Experience’. I want to help you discover your true potential and your hidden talents. I can help you to be the best you can be, gain confidence in your presentation and ‘NAIL’ that Interview.
